A night of readings at the Bard’s Apothecary

On May 24th I will join a group of writers including Tim Baker, Nam Le, Gig Ryan, Bella Li and Sally Breen at an evening of readings organised by the APWT (Asian Pacific Writers and Translators) group. APWT@BardsApothecary in Melbourne’s CBD is a free event, but donations will be welcome. The address is 7/24 Crossley St Melbourne, and the event kicks off at 7pm. All welcome!

This full-day workshop I’m running in Sydney on May 17th will introduce you to some of the essential skills required to write publishable works of creative non-fiction. Hosted by Writing NSW, the workshop runs from 10 am to 4 pm at Callan Park, Lilyfield.

On Thursday 22nd August I will be hosting a panel discussion for the Wheeler Centre - from page to stage - Helen Garner’s novel ‘The Children’s Bach’ has been adapted into an opera. Guests incloude Helen Garner, librettist Glenn Perry and composer Andrew Schultz. All welcome, bookings advised.
